The short version
shelfcheckai.com does not use cookies. We also don't use similar technologies such as local storage, tracking pixels, analytics tools, advertising tags or social media embeds. That's why you don't see a cookie banner: there's nothing to consent to.
What the site does use
- Your browser's own fonts. Text is shown in fonts already on your device. No outside font service is contacted.
- Our hosting provider (Netlify). Like any web server, it records basic technical information about each visit, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure. This doesn't involve placing cookies on your device. See our Privacy Policy.
- Our report request form. When you submit it, your entries are sent to our hosting provider and screened for spam. No cookie is set.
Links to other sites
The site links to LinkedIn, X and our cited sources. Those sites have their own cookie policies, which apply once you visit them.
If this changes
If we ever add cookies or analytics that aren't strictly necessary, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before setting them where the law requires it.
